Mr. and, Mrs. Harry Yanich of 2319 Leslie returned from their
vacation at Herzl Camp in Webster, Wis., of which their children,
Rabbi and Mrs. Walter H. Plaut of Fargo, N. D are the directors,
and their son, Joseph, is a staff member.
Joan Rothenberg of Santa Barbara Dr., was the house guest of
Carolyn Schoenfeld of Washington, D. C.
• Mrs. Max Tapper and sons, Samuel and Arnold, of Los Angeles,
are visiting with her mother, Mrs. Mary Baron, and brother-in-law
and sister, Mr. and Mrs. M. Rowin, at Woodhull Lake.
Mr. and Mrs. George D. Blumenthal of 17142 Second Blvd., have
left for Manomet Point, Cape Cod, for a two-week stay.
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Friedman and daughter, Lorraine, of Lee
Place, are leaving for a week's stay in St. Louis, where they will
visit their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Lazaroff.
Mr. and Mrs. Meyer Finkel of 3325 Tyler, have left for South
Haven, where they will spend the month of August.
Mr: and Mrs. David Adler of New York City, stopped in Detroit
enroute to Nova Scotia. While here, they were the guests of their
brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Simon Adler of Gladstone
Ave.
Mrs. Miriam Kittner and son, Jimmy, returned to their home in
Baltimore, after an extended visit in Detroit with her parerits, Mr.
and Mrs. Sam Carver of Chicago Blvd., and a short stay in Cleveland.
Mr. and Mrs. Martin Butzel of Birmingham have returned from
a month's stay in. California.
Mrs. Arthur Davis and her small son, Quentin, returned on Sat-
urday to their home in New Orleans after a few weeks' visit with
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wineman of Hamilton Rd.
Mr. and Mrs. Seymour Simon their daughters, Shirley and
Sarah, and • son, Ruthven,' of Wildelnere Ave., left last Friday for
Charlevoix where they plan to spend a few weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Quint, their daughter, Barbara, and son,
Peter, Of Oak Dr., have returned from Torch Lake where% they
spent the month of July.
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Arnfeld of Strathcona Dr. left by motor for
Maine where they will visit their daughter, Joan, who is at camp.
Mr. and Mrs. Abe Srere and their daughter, Babs, of Boston
Blvd. and Mr. and Mrs. Max M. Shaye of Fairfield Ave. are on a
12-day trip to Murray Bay, Canada.
Mary Brown of the Lee Crest Apt. left on Saturday for the Girl
Scout Camp at Metamora, Mich., where she will be a counsellor
for the month of August.
Miss Marie Newman of the Belcrest has returned from a fort-
night's stay in New York.
Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Marks have moved from Broadstreet Blvd. and
are now residing at 3415 West Outer Dr.
Miss Julia Klein and her father, Aaron Klein, of Boston Blvd.,
returned on Tuesday from Cleveland and Lorain, Ohio, where they
spent a few dayS visiting with members of their family.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Moses of Wildemere Ave. had as their guest
for a few weeks his mother, Mrs. H. L. Moses of New Orleans.
• Mrs. Oscar. Blumberg of Glynn Ct. is planning to leave this Fri-
day to spend the remainder of the- summer in Charlevoix.
Miss Freda Rosenthal of the Seward Hotel left on Saturday for
Gloucester, Mass., where she plans to spend a few weeks.'
Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Levy of Muskokee, Okla., are spending' a
few weeks in Detroit visiting with friends.
Mrs. Irma Marks and her son, Robert, have returned to their
home in Los Angeles after an extended visit with her brother-in-
law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Sylvan Grosner of Atkinson Ave. Joan
Grosner accompanied her aunt and cousin and plans to remain in
California for a few weeks.
Mrs. Jack Snitt (Lottie Kroll of Detroit) and 'daughter, Maxine,
of Beverly Hills, Calif., are guests of Mr. and Mrs. Barnett Kroll of.

Pre-nuptial affairs for Jacqueline Greenbaum, whose marriage to
Nathan Zigman took place July 25, were given by Mesdames Norman
Noble, Albert P. Weiss, Henry Kolof, Bernard Zack, Charles H..Aller
