Berkshires where she will spend a few weeks and will attend the
Music Festival at Tangelwood.
Mr. and Mrs. John Frazer' of Leslie Ave. left last Friday to spend
10 days in Northern. Michigan.
Joyce Blumenthal of Litchfield Ave. left last week to spend the
month of August in Charlevoix.
Mr. and Mrs. Julius Gunsberg, their daughter, Marion, and son,
Ronnie, returned from a month's stay in Frankfort.
Mrs. Paul Winkelman has returned from California where she
spent several months visitIng with .members of her family.
Mrs. M. A. Bernstein of Chicago is spending a fortnight as the
guest of her sister, - Mrs. Mose Rosenthal of the Seward Hotel.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Alpert of Dickerson Ave. left for Omena,
Mich., where they plan to spend a few weeks.
Dr. and Mrs. Louis Barnett of Normandy Ave. expect as their
guest this week-end her cousin, Mrs. Hirsch Lauterpacht of Cam-
bridge, England. Prof. Lauterpacht, who is giving a summer lecture
course at the University of Colorado, and gave a lecture at the
University of Michigan last week, spent a day wit5 his wife's family
before returning to Colorado.
Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Kuttner of Chicago are spending a few weeks
in Detroit visiting with members of their family and friends.
Mrs. Rose Lipson of Merton Rd. returned from Charlevoix where
she visited with friends and went to see her granddaughters, Alice
and Marianne, who are at Camp Q-Gull.
'Mrs. Albert H. Eder of Clements Ave. returned from Tawas,
Mich., where she spent 10 days as the guest of her sister, Mrs. Harry
Ash.
Mr. and Mrs. Saul Rose, their daughter, Betsy, and sons, Johnny
and Jeremy, of Boston Blvd., are vacationing at Provincetown at
Cape Cod.

Miss Freda Goldstein of New York, who spent several weeks in

day with Miss Edith Langer of Fullerton Ave. for a tour of Northern

Clara Ave., returned from a motor tour to California.

Mrs. Jack H. Goldstein and son, Dick, of Santa Monica, Calif.,

house guests her sister, Mrs. M. E. Klasky, and children, Gail and
Sara, of Duluth, Minn.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Schaflander of Inkster Rd. are motoring
East to visit their children, Mr. and. Mrs. Gerald- M. Schaflander of
Conyngham, Pa., and Mr. and Mrs. Milton Sarubin, of Ellicott City,
Maryland.
Mr. and Mrs. Ben Winsen of 2992 W. Grand Ave. celebrated their
25th wedding anniversary at a dinner for family and friends July 28
at Northwood Inn. Mrs. Abe Glickman of New York is visiting the
Winsens.
Mrs. R. B. Klamer (Charlotte Drawer) and son, Joel, who have
been visiting with her parents, have returned to their home in Los
Angeles.
