Miss Kitty Smith of Fall River, Mass., was the guest here last
week-end of her cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel N. Heyman of Glen-
dale Ave. She was among the out-cef-town guests at the dinner at'
Lachar's last Saturday night in honor of the Bar Mitzvah of the
Heymans' nephew, Leslie Bruce Friedenberg, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Friedenberg of Waverly Ave.
Mrs. Ray Gilbert and children of Pasadena Ave. and Mr. and
Mrs. Albert Davis of Ewald Circle have returned from a stay in
Charlevoix. . •
Harriet Field and Elayne Lefkofsky left for a six-week stay in
Los Angeles, where they will attend the summer session at the Uni-
versity of California.
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey S..Barnett of Elmhurst. Ave. have as their
guests Mr. and Mrs. Martin J. Grace of Worcester, Mass. Mr. Grace
and Mr. Barnett were classmates at Vanderbilt University, Nashville,

Mr. and Mrs.- William V. Kerwin are vacationing at Paradise
Ranch, Woodland Park, Colorado, and are motoring through the
Rockies.
Bride-elect Diana Babitch of Flint will be honored at a luncheon
July 31 at Huyler's. Hostesses will be her aunts, Mesdames Harry,
Isadore arid Morris Mendelson. -
Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Levin and daughter, Dean Laib, of Strath-
cona Dr. are vacationing in Charlevoix.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Enggass of Cumberland Way had as their
!guests for a few days last week Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Tishman of
New York.
Mrs. Benjamin Lambert, Mrs. I. L. Polzker and Mrs. Eugene
Sloman of the Belcrest left on Monday for Mackinac Island where
they will be guests for a few weeks at the Grand Hotel.
Mrs. Monroe Rosenfield of the Belcrest left for Samoset, Me.,
where she will spend, a few weeks as the guest of her brother and
sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rosenberger.
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Lewis of Birmingham are spending a
few weeks in Charlevoix.
Mr. and. Mrs. John Tuteur returned to their home in Cleveland
on Monday after a few days' visit with Mr. and Mrs. Mortimer Meyer
of Suffolk Dr.

turned from a month's sojourn in California. •
Mrs. Moritz Kahn of Lincolnshire Dr. left last week for New
York where she will visit with members of her 'family and from
there she will go on to the Berkshires to attend the Tangelwood
Music Festival.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph' Hartman of Chicago Blvd. left on' Sunday
for a few weeks' stay in Frankfort. Their daughter, Shirley, accom-
panied them for a week.
Elliott Kaplan and Mrs. Elliott Kaplan, the former Cecile Mal-
daver, who were married on July 10 have returned from a honey-
moon trip to Atlantic City, New York City and Toronth, and will
reside on Chicago Blvd.
