At Haifa Refinery;
U.S. Policy Holds

HAIFA (JTA). The produc-
tion of benzine, kerosene and
other petroleum products has be-
gun in the Haifa refinery. Storage
tanks, secretly prepared by. the
Israeli Government, were ready
to receive the refinery's products. ,
It is assumed that crude oil has
been reaching here from abroad
by tanker, since the Iraqi pipe-
line is completely shut down. A
small staff of selected skilled
Jewish technicians worked all of
