Former Detroiter Tells
Israers Success Secret

Edith Levine of Haifa, former
Detroiter, writing to her sister,
Mrs. M. Levine, of 2498 W. Davi-
son, Detroit, describing the hero-
ism of Israel, explains that "be-
hind each one of us is the spirit
of 100 antagonists."
In her interesting letter, she
writes: "Behind every small re-
volver held by a Jewish defender
is the spirit of - a cannon. That is
the secret of our success. That is
why all the enemies of Israel put
together with the British (you
know the English are fighting us)
will crumble."
