Hrs, Ginsburg Retains
Calm, Serene Manner
-Despite Busy Schedule
If you spent a quiet half hour
with Mrs. Fred A. Ginsburg, you
would have a difficult time be-
lieving that with all her calm
serenity of manner, she has the
kind of boundless energy that
will tale her to as many as four
different meetings a day, explor-
ing her myriad interests, all the
while maintaining her never ruf-
f1ed band box look
This gracious chairman of the
hospitality committee of the
Women's Division of the Jewish
Welfare Federation is able to use
every day fOr 36 hourS worth of
activity. In the Women's Division,
MRS. FRED GINSBURG
where she has been active since
its formation, Mrs. Ginsburg has,
with Mrs. Harry L. Jacobson,
handled the details of hospitali
ty for two years and their com-
mittee is to a great extent re-
sponsible for the warm and
friendly atmosphere of the Di-
vision meetings, whether large
or small. •
Born in Detroit, Mrs. Ginsburg
attended the old Central High
School and was graduated from
the Detroit Conservatory of
Music. She still retains a deep
appreciation for 'music. Like
most of the Women's Division
leaders, she has been outstand-
ing in many organizations, hav-
ing served as a preS'ident of the
Detroit • Section of the National
Council o _ f Jewish Women, presi-
dent of the League of Jewish
Women's, Organizations .and vice
president of the Detroit Chapter
of Hadassah.
Mrs. Ginsburg is the mother of
three attractive daughters, Mrs.
Lenore • Ruskin, now living in
Chicago,:-MrsT---Suzanne Tatarsky,
now a reSideht of , Denver, and
Mignon.

avenue. Rabbi B. Benedict Glazer
officiated.
The bride chose a gown of
ivory satin, trimmed with Belgian
lace. The fingertip veil of French
illusion fell from a braided crown
of ivory satin. She carried a
white Bible adorned with white
orchids and streamers of -stepha-
notis.
Mrs. Lawrence Eisenberg, sis-
ter of the bridegroom, was
matron-of-honor; I re n e Cot t,
maid-of-honor; Rita Fox and
Eileen Ferentz, bridesmaids, and
Margot Corby, sister of the bride,
and Ruth Cohen were junior
bridesmaids. Carol Cohen was
ringbearer.
Lawrence Eisenberg served his
brother-in-law as best man and
Bully Jacobs, Don Fraternick,
and Seymour Fenster were
ushers.
Following a dinner and recep-
tion at the Lee Plaza Hotel, the
newlyweds left on a motor trip
to the south. Out of town guests
came from New York, Chicago
and Cleveland. -
