Celebrating • the most successful drive in the history of
The Women's Division of the Jewish Welfare Federation,
workers in the division held a lawn party at Franklin Hills
Country Club June 9. The cast of the medicine show, adver-
tising "Dr. Sobeloff's Panacea," included (left to right) MRS
EDWARD LEVINE, MRS. HAROLD KOENIGSBERG, MRS.
LEONARD H. WEINER, who wrote the show, and MRS.
ROYAL MAAS.

On a more serious note,
MRS: SIDNEY J. ALLEN,

In the major divisions, the pro-.
fessional group, led by Martin
Leo Butzel and Dr. Charles Lak-
off, continues to set the pace in
the quota achieved at 92 per
cent. A close runner 1,43 is the
real estate and building council
with Joseph Holtzman and Bar-
ney Smith as chairmen, whose
workers have reached 90 per cent
of their quota. Other top groups
are the services division, John
Isaacs, chairman, with 88 per
cent anZt. the mechanical trades,
with Milton K. Mahler and Ben
L. Silberstein as chairmen, 80
per cent.
Campaign chairman Maurice
Aronsson has emphasized that
"The money is in the slips. With
100 per cent coverage we will
certainly reach our minimum
goal." Pacing the other divisions
in the important department of
coverage, the mercantile division
headed by Samuel H. Rubiner,
has reached 93 per cent. The pro-
fessional division at 88 per cent
is a leader in coverage also.
Both the women's and junior
divisions have completed their
phase of the drive. The organiza-
tions division, heeded by Joseph
Bernstein, has reached 100 per
cent coverage and expects to
surpass this mark since many
new prospects have been un-
covered and will be visited by
campaign workers.
