ish Welfare Board, will be one
of the 'featured speakers at the
first : annual Jewish Young Adult
Council-:week-end conference, to
he "held June 18 to 20 at Fresh
• - -Air Camp, near Brighton, Mich.
Other nationally-known speak-
ers, including a representative of,
11aganah, are expected to be pres-
ent at the conference; to lecture
and lead discussions on various
phases of the conference theme,
"The Role of Jewish Youth in the
Jewish Community,'." according
to Yehudah Rosenman, Council
executive secretary.
Invitations nave ben sent to
all members o_f constituent or-
ganizations of the Young Adult
Council, and, since the camp's
Capacity . is limited, • those plan-
ning to attend are urged to make
their reservations, pre-paid, at
once.
In addition to the cultural con-
tentment, the conference pro-
gram will include Sabbath re- .
ligious services, campfires, sing-
ing, dancing and camping activi-
ties.. Transportation to Fresh Air
Cany will be provided upon re-
quest.

Has Installation 'June 15

An installation meeting of the
Ladies' Auxiliary of Jewish Na-
tional Fund will be held at 12:30
p.m. Tuesday, June 15 at the Rose
Sittig Cohen auditorium.
New officers will be installed
by Irving W. Schlussel, president
of the JNF Council. Mrs. Abra-
ham Lachover will review "Bless-
ed Is the Match," by Marie Syr-
kin. Refreshments will be served.
This will be the final meeting
of the current final year. All

To Open Pharmacy
At Home for the Aged

Formal opening of the new
Pharmaey at the Jewish Home
for the Aged hospital wing will
take place with apPropriate cere-
inonieS Monday evening, June 21.
The pharmaCy room, its contents
and a biological refrigerator were
provided. by the Aesculapian
Pharmaceutical Association.
Buffet supper and movies are
planned for the opening festivi-
ties, according to Mineta IVforger,
Aesculapian secretary. Members
of the Jewish pharmacy group,
and prospective members are in :
vited.
Special efforts toward comple-
tion of the new pharmacy were
made by Ben Bavly and Hyman
Margolis of the hospital commit-
tee.
