Mr. and Mrs. Max Edwards, who were to return from an extended
trip South and West June 14 have been delayed by the Oregon floods.
Janet Arfa, June bride-elect, has been feted at pre-nuptial

Flora Smaltz.
Mr. and Mrs. M. Lerner of 3754 Tyler announce the graduation
of their son, Leonard, from the Marquette University School of Medi-
cine on June 12. An open house will be held in his honor Sunday,
June 20.
Lenore Stramer is spending her summer vacation from the Uni-
versity of Miami with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. S. Nemeth
of Pasadena Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. B. Rothstein of Cherrylawn Ave. and Rhoda Ne-
meth of Pasadena are vacationing in New York City.
Mr. and Mrs. Willie Steinberg of New York City will visit with
Mr. and Mrs. H. Pokart of Buena Vista Ave. following a motor trip
to California and Denver.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Kurnetz of Glynn Ct. announce the grad-
uation of their son, Ruben, from the University of Michigan Medical
School June 21. Dr. Kurnetz will be on the staff of Grace Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert J. Silber of Glynn "Ct .are sailing June 14
on the. S. S. Mauretania to attend the World Jewish Congress in Swit-
zerland.- They also will st/Vt in France and will return home the
end of July.
Previous to the opening of Camp Hiawatha at Comins, Mich.,
Mr. and Mrs. William Joelson entertained a group of friends over
Decoration Day weekend.
Rae Goldrich of . Buena Vista Ave. has returned from Dayton, 0.,
where she was the guest of her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and
Mrs. Morris Zeifman.
