Central branch P-TA will hold a social and cultural meeting Wednesday evening, June 9, at the Rose Sittig Cohen Bldg. The pro- gram will include a talk on Lag b'Omer by Mrs. E. Thav, customs and ceremonies of Shevuot by Mrs. A. Dorfman, and community singing led by Moe Kesner. A musical program will be given by the Parkside parents' organization Wednesday, June 2. A. Roberg, branch principal, will discuss the work of the school. Beth Aaron branch will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, at the home of the president, Mrs. Oscar Gorelick, 19340 Lesure. Albert Elazer, associate superintendern of the UHS, and Morris Lachover, principal of the Beth Aaron school, will discuss Jewish educa- tion in the light of the new de- velopments in the Republic of Israel. The .Bagley Branch met at the home of Mrs. Ben Mossman, where M. Michlin, principal, spoke on Shevuot. Philadelphia-Byron P-TA will meet Monday evening, June 21, at the school. Leah Pike and Israel Elpern will present their classes in dramatic entertainment. Elec.- ton of officers also will be held. M.
