workers will meet at an Oneg

on Friday evening.
"This year, it is especially im-
portant that our people should
respond with much larger con-
tributions than ever, in order
to increase activities in land re-
demption and to assure security
in Palestine," 'Miss Snyder said.
She pointed out that the Jewish
National Fund cooperates with
the Haganah, that a JNF allot-
ment of $9,000,000 to Haganah
in the Negev assures establish-
ment of a new colony and ade-
quate defense, and expressed the
hope that instead of nickels and
dimes the gifts this year will
be quarters, half dollars and dol-
lars.
