Mandell, leads in per cent of
slips covered. Captains in Divi-

man, Belle Gillary, Betty Green-

Leonard Baruch and 'Barbara
A. Greenberg, campaign co-chair-
men, declared that coverage of
slips is still highly important-
"Although the knowledge that
we already have reached our
goal is heartening, we must strive
for complete Coverage of all our
slips. If we have raised over $72,-
000 with one third of our slips
still outstanding, we certainly
can go much, higher when every
slip is in," Baruch said.
So that workers who still have
unreported, slips may turn them
in, a report meeting will be
scheduled during the week of
May 17. Workers will- be notified
by mail of the exact date. All
slip is in," Baruch said.

The Junior Division of the 1948
Allied Jewish Campaign report-
ed a total of $75,095 raised at the

Our Letter Box

Students' Campaign
Procedure Clarified
Editor, The Jewish News:
The contributor to. your Letter
Box, "a Dexter-Cortland resi-
dent," calls attention to the dis-
tribution of ZStudents Contribu-
tion Tickets" issued by one of
our local schools. The school in
question did so under a misun-
derstanding, and the project has
been discontinued.
Your subscriber is correct in
suggesting that contribution to
the campaign should be made by.
individuals in their own name,
and not through any indirect ap-
peals. This is in conformity with
traditional Allied Jewish Cam-
paign policy.
