greatly. Miss Kowalsky has de-
veloped an excellent technique
with an especially striking sense
Of rhythm and she . assuredly
prepared the concerto with thor-
oughness and understanding."
J. Dorsey Callaghan of the
Free Press said: "Miss Kowalsky
was impressive, indeed, in the
piano parts of the concerto. Here
is a big talent which should be
productive of a career -if she so
wishes."
Harvey Taylor of the Detroit
Times wrote: "Miss Kowalsky's
tone is good and solid and her
playing has power and. assur-
ance."

Tuesday evening, May 11, at
Wayne Hillel House, the Wayne
University chapter of the Inter-
collegiate Zionist Federation of
America will . hold its annual
"Camp Night" program. Films
of. the Brandeis Camp Institut2
and the IZFA summer camp will
be shown. Applications are now
being accepted for this year's
IZFA camp and for the leader-
ship institute at Big Eagle Camp.
Singing and dancing will round

Central States regional conven-
