Methodist Ministers Say
U. S. Has Lost Prestige

Methodist ministers represent-
ing 44 states, meeting in Wash-
ington in a seminar devoted to
international affairs, asserted by
a great majority that the United
States had seriously impaired her
prestige because of a reversal on
the Palestine partition plan, ac-
cording to a Washington dispatch,
received by the Zionist Organi-
zation of America.
The seminar, conducted by the
Graduate School of American
University, was highlighted at
the conclusion by the submission
of an - "opinionaire," listing 30
selected questions, to the minist-
ers. Answers were tabulated on
a percentage basis. One question
asked: "Do you think the United
States lost prestige by reversing
her policy with respect to the
partitioning of Palestine?" The
answer was: "Yes-82.3 per cent;
No--L17.7 per cent"
