Rabbi E. M. Bloch, head of the
Telshe Yeshivah in Cleveland,
speaking before the administra-
tive committee of Yeshivath Beth
Yehudah, praised the growth of
the school in the last two years.
Rabbi Bloch, distinguished Lith-
uanian s.cholar who visited here
the -last few weeks, has been
worshipping daily with the inter-
mediate and high school students
of Yeshivath Beth Yehudah in
their own Beth Hamedrash, and
lectured before the advanced
groups at the invitation of their
Rosh Yeshivah.
David I. Berris proposed a new
plan for the immediate launch-
ing of the construction of an ade-
quate home for the Yeshivah-. A
committee is at work examining
this proposal and its report is
expected to be adopted at the
meeting of the directors on
Thursday evening, May 6. The
annual membership meeting is
set for June 27, -which is to be
combined with the school's grad-
uation exercises. Max W. Tern-
chin is chairman of the admin-
istrative committee. -
Yeshivah classes were closed
for Pesach. During Chol Hamoed,
the following events were ar-
ranged for students: A trip to
River Rouge Park for lower
grades including 4B; a trip to
Cranbrook for upper'elementary
grades; a tour of the Ford fac-
tory for intermediate and high
school grades.
The office of the Yeshivah will
be open Sunday, May 2 (Isru
Chag Pesach), 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., for
interviews with parents who wish
to enroll their children (boys and
girls), in any of the Yeshivah or
Beth Jacob classes for the spring
and summer. Regular sessions will
be resumed on Monday. A third
school bus has been acquired for
transportation of pupils to, en-
able children in outlying neigh-
borhoods to attend the Yeshivah.

Bagley Branch held its Seder
in the social hall of Northwest
Hebrew Congregation.
Central High School Branch
conducted its Seder at the Rose
Sittig Cohen Building.-
These Sedorim, which were at-
tended by all the pupils and a
large number of parents, were
conducted by the children them-
selveS under the guidance of staff
members.

tion's games party to be held at
8 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, at
