Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Wolf of Collingwood Ave. have as their
guest Mrs. Wolfs sister, Mrs. F. Wetterhahn, of Johannesburg South
Africa. Mrs. Wetterhahn will visit in the United States for six
months.
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard N. Bloch and daughter, Nancy, of Muir-
land Ave. have returned from a three-month sojourn in Florida.
A Weiner roast will be held April 16 in Lola Valley Park in
honor of the engagement of Marian Ablitz and Milt Bogrow.
Mrs. Bela Weiss and daughter, Diana, of Tuscon, Ariz., were the
house guests of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Pokart of Buena Vista Ave.
They were entertained at a luncheon at the Book Cadillac by Mrs.
H. Pokart and Mrs. S. Nemeth and at a. dinner at the Hungarian
Village by Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hirschhorn of Kentucky Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Davis of 9600 Dexter motored to Miami
Beach for a month's vacation.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Fenberg of Cortland Ave. have spent the past
month in Miami Beach. They will return the middle of April.
Mr. and Mrs. Sidney R. Solomon of k'icadilly Road have returned
from a trip to Natchez and New Orleans.
Albert A. Globerman, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Globerman of 3736
W. Chicago, was graduated on April 5 from Ohio College of Chirop-
ody, Cleveland, 0. He studied at Central and Northern .High Schools
and is a member of Phi Alpha Pi, national chiropodial fraternity.
He is a veteran of World War II, having spent 25 months in the ETO.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Janeway of Canterbury Dr. are vacationing
in Bermuda.

Rev. Mayne To Speak
At Brotherhood Meeting
Rev. Joseph Q. Mayne, execu-
tive secretary of the Detroit
Round Table of Catholics, Jews
and Protestants, will be guest
speaker at a Brotherhood Night
to be sponsored by the Mat-
tathias Tent-Hive at Workman's
Circle, at 3 p.m. Thursday.
Following the round table dis-
cussion, novel entertainment will
be presented. Refreshments will
be served. The public is invited.

Students of the United Hebrew
Schools will learn the Jewish
tradition of Tzedakah by con-
tributing to the miniature Allied
Jewish Campaign now being con-
ducted in the schools.
Each class is determining its
own quota and electing chair-
men and captains. A speakers'
bureau is being set up in each
branch, and assemblies are being
held to acquaint the children
with the needs of the drive-sup-
ported agencies.
The campaign will close with
a rally of students from all
branches.
