An Oneg "Pesach" held simul-
taneously in - four homes in dif-
ferent parts of the city is on the
agenda • df the next meeting of re-:
activated Masada, on Tdesday,
April 27, at 8:30 p.m.

talks on "Is The Game Worth The
Candle?" referring to the Euro-
pean custom of playing chess'13y
candlelight during the middle
ages, derived from a chapter in
' Rabbi Milton Steinberg's 'Par-
tisan Guide to the Jewish Prob-
lem."

United Dairies Gives
Party Funds to AJC
Employees of United Dairies,
will forego the annual party
which Max Weiss, president of
the company, - gives annually for
all members of the firm. Instead,
they voted to turn the cost of the
affair over to the 1948 Allied
Jewish Campaign, in' addition to
their regular contribution and
that of the company.
The additional funds made
available to_ the campaign as a
result of this generosity total
about $750, acC6rding to Max
Shayowitz, chairman of the Food
Service Council, •-who received
the contribution in behalf of the
campaign.
