Appeal Freedom Month with the
presentation of Morton Wishen-
grad's_ "The Physician of Birken-
au" Sunday, April 11. It will be
heard at 8 a.m. on station WWJ
and 12:30 p.m. on station WTCB
in Flint.

A combination defense post
and house of culture (Beth Tar-
buth) is being built with the aid
of American funds at an undis-
closed point in the Negev, Pales-
tine's 3,000,000 acre southern area
in which 23 Jewish settlements
have been set up over the past
two years, Dr. Israel Goldstein,

in honor of their member, Benja-
min Bagdade, president of the
Amateur Skating Union of the
United States, Tuesday evening,
April 13, at 8:30 at the Jewish
Center.
Bagdade recently returned
from St. Moritz, ' Switzerland,
where he captained the Ameri-
can Olympic Skating Team.
There will be a number of
sports celebrities, also entertain-
ment and refreshments. All mem-
