MRS. WILLIAM B. ISENBERG
Women's Division of the Jewish
Welfare Federation; she has the
usual feminine soft spotS — and
her principal one is her adorable
little granddaughter.
Mrs. Isenberg applies a firm
organizational hand as vice-
chairman of general solicitation
in the Allied Jewish Campaign,
but she often ruefully admits that
her granddaughter is the "execu-
tive" when it comes to her per-
sonal activities.
A super salesman for things
she believes in, Mrs. Isenberg's
secret lies • in the organization
of her volunteers in such a way
that they accomplish results that
even they do not expect.
She is warm and friendly, the
soul of hospitality and good hu-
mor — which helps to explain
why she has been able to achieve
unusually successful records in
every one of the many positions
she has filled in past campaigns.
Mrs. Isenberg is well known
in Detroit communal activities,
having served as an officer in
Hadassah, the women's activities
committee of the Jewish Com-
munity Center, ORT• and Detroit
Section of the National Connell
of Jewish Women. She is affiliat-
ed with Temple Beth El, where
she is a member of the Sister-
hood.
In addition to her social serv-
ice work, Mrs. Isenberg has been
a busy wife. and mother of three
children — Bernard, Ethel (Mrs.
Edward E. Levine) and Judith
Ann.
