Gafni in 'Voice is Born'
At the Delray Theater

Miklos Gafni, great singing star
who rose to fame from a Nazi
concentration camp to fame as a
singer and movie actor in this
country, is featured in the Colum-
bia film, "A Voice Is Born," which
will be seen during the week of

April 11 to 17 inclusive, at the
Delray Theater, 8022 W. Jeffer-
son.
The film is biographical.
It
shows Gafni under arrest by
Gestapo, and in Nazi labor camp
where he is taught to sing by a
fellow prisoner. It shows Gafni
being released by the American
Army and his ultimate success on
the American concert stage.

Jewish campaign Rally said
There are 15,000 Netherlands
"Jews will be saved only by residents registered with HIAS
Jews and responsibility for jus- for emigration.
tice rests mainly with us and our
actions in the present campaign."
The Jews meant to do the
saving are not only our par-
ents. We the youth must help,
too, for our brethren in Eu-
rope today, including Germany
are being hit by strong waves
of Anti-semitism along with
their problem of securing a
homeland... It's your job. Act
quickly! Give now!
