Sunday morning, April 11, at Cen-
tral High School.
Parents are invited to visit
classes and, at 11 a. m., to gather
in the auditorium where a new
Palestinian film will be shown.
Laws and customs on Pesach will
be discussed.
The school's participation in
the Allied Jewish Campaign will
begin Sunday, April 18; at a spe-
cial children's Seder in the social
hall of Bnai David synagogue.

Campaign Trade Groups Meet
To Plan Year of Destiny Drive

With the 1948 Allied Jewish
Campaign now actively under-
way, various groups in the Year
of Destiny drive are planning to
make this the most successful
campaign in Detroit's history.
Dr. J. J. Jacobs will host the
members of the Chiropodists
Section at his home Friday eve-
ning, April 9. The physicians al-
so have a meeting scheduled to-
night at the home of Dr. I. Jer-
ome Hauser.
A bruncheon will be featured
by the accountants' section at 11
a.m. Sunday, April 11, at the
Jewish Center. Joseph L. Staub
and David P. Zack are co-chair-
men and. Joseph B. Colten and
Sidney W. Foreman are vice-
chairmen of the section.
Rabbi Milton J. Rosenbaum of
Pontiac will address the waste
materials, paper and rags sec-
tion at Lachar's at 7 p.m. Mon-
day, April 12.
Dr. Morris Beckwitt, noted
psychiatrist, will address the So-
cial vvorkers section at the D. W.
Simons School, at 8 p.m. Mon-
day, April 12.
An active leader in the food
division, Ben Klein will speak to
the men in the kosher meat sec-
tion, at 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, April
13.
When members of the produce
section hold their dinner at 6:30
p.m, Wednesday, April 14, in the

Bagley Room of Hotel Statler,
Rabbi Morris Adler will be the
featured guest.
On Thursday evening, April
15, the auto parts section of the
Mechanical Trades division will
meet at the home of Albert Fru-
man.

Rep. Youngblood Joins
In Asking Congressional
Inquiry on Zion Policy

WASHINGTON. (JTA)-,--Thirty
Republican Congressmen called
for a full investigation of the
U. S. Palestine policy by the
House Foreign Affairs Commit-
tee. The request was addressed to
Rep. Charles Eaton, chairman of
the Foreign Affairs Committee.
Republican Congressmen Ja-
cob Javits and Kenneth B. Keat-
ing of New York, Christian A.
Herter of Massachusetts, Robert
J. Twyman of Illinois, and Frank-
lin J. Maloney of Pennsylvania,
speaking for themselves and their
25 colleagues, including Rep.
Harold F. Youngblood of Michi-
gan, told a press conference that
only investigation of the full facts
could clear up the confusion that
now exists and enable the Con-
gress to chart its course with re-
gard to reaching a solution of the
Palestine problem,
