celebration will take place this
Sunday, at the synagogue, Wy-
oming at Thatcher.
The children, dressed in Purim
costumes will present a program
of Purim songs, poems, playlets,
recitations and stories. There will
be a Palestinian movie, and the
Sisterhood will serve Purim re-
freshments.

Shaarey Zedek at 8:30 p.m. Wed-
nesday, March 31, under the spon-
sorship of the Shaarey Ztdek
Men's Club.
Dr. Gordon, a noted labor arbi-
trator, served as spiritual leader
of the Adath Jeshurun Congrega-
tion in Minneapolis for 16 years.
He was on the advisory council
of the Minneapolis Federal Hous-
ing Administration and was presi-
dent of the Zionist district and
the Federation for. Jewish Service
in that city. ,
Movies not previously exhib-
ited-here also will be presented,
according to Albert Green, Men's
Club president. Rabbi Morris Ad-
ler will introduce - Dr. Gordon.
The public is invited.
Eternal Light Presents
Wishengrad Purim Play
To mark the festival of Purim,
the Eternal Light will present a
_radio play, by /Morton Wishen-
grad entitled, "Esther," Sunday,
March 28. It will be heard at 8
a. m. over station WWJ, and at
12:30 p. m. over station 'WTCB in
Flint.
Ira G. Kaufman, president of
the Northwest Hebrew Congrega-
tion, will be guest speaker at the
sixth annual donor luncheon of
the Ladies' Auxiliary of Yeshi-
vath Chichmey Lublin April 6
at Bani Moshe Synagogue.
Mrs. Joshua Sperka will be
toastmistress. Mrs. I. Levin is in
charge of arrangements. Proceeds
of the luncheon are the chief
source of income for the Yeshi-
vah's cafeteria.

gram, has recorded an album of
traditional Passover music, ac-
companied by a choir, for the
National Women's League of the
United Synagogue of America, it
was announced by Mrs. Barnet
E. Kopelman, president of the or-
ganization. '
The album, consisting of three
records, includes Cantor Segal's
interpretation of 13 melodies
which are part of the Passover
service, and provides a running
commentary on the story of Isra-
el's liberation.
