Yeshivath Beth Yehudah, in
observance of its sixth annual
Torah Month, will hold public
graduation exercises for 18 pupils
in its day school, at 2:30 p.m.,
Sunday, Feb. 29, in the syna-
gogue auditorium at Dexter and
Cortland.
Arthur Dondineau, superinten-
dent of the Detroit Public Schools
will be the principal speaker.
Diplomas will be given to Uriel
Mandelbaum and B e n j amin
Weiss, who have completed the
intermediate grades, and to the
following elementary school grad-
uates: Herbert Acker, Priscilla
Adler, Louis Feigelson, Seymour
.Gliner, Joseph Jacobson, Philip
Kaufman, Stephen Tomor, Mor-

Beth Yehudah Day School
founded three and a half years
ago opened its 11th grade
at the beginning of this month.
The Yeshivah also offers .instruc-
tion to twelfth graders and stu-
dents of the city's colleges in
the afternoon classes. A heavy
influx of new students in all
departments has marked the be-
. ginning of the present semester.

14 Congregational
Men's Clubs Join
In Goodwill Event

Members of the mens' clubs of
14 Detroit congregations will be
guests of the men of the North-
west Hebrew Congregation at a
dinner Feb. 23 at the Northwest
synagogue.
The dinner is being given to
symbolize the unity and goodwill
among the conservative, orthodox
and reform congregations in the
city. Religious leaders of all 14
synagogues will be present.
Rabbi Jacob Weinstein of Chi-
cago-will be guest speaker for the
evening. Cantor Pavel Slavensky
will present a musical program.
