given in their honor by the Smith Family Club on the occasion of

their 22nd wedding anniversary Saturday, Jan. 31, with a family
party at their home.

Joseph De . Lange Dies
ANTWERP (JTA)—Joseph de
Lange, former president of the
Jewish Community in Antwerp
and secretary of the Federation
of Jewish Charity here, died here
at the age of 64.-Mr. de Lange, a
noted architect, had also - been, a
delegate to the executive of the
United Synagogues of Belgium.
He died after- a long illness.
The Hillel Queen for 1948 will
be crowned at the second annual
dance of the Wayne University
Hillel Foundation this Saturday
evening at Masonic Temple. The
queen is being chosen from among
coed - members of Hillel by the
