arship at Johns Hopkins University, and Sander Chernick, a recent
arrival from Palestine, were entertained during the holidays by

Dr. and Mrs. Henry Green and son, Howard, of Webb Ave.,
spent 10 days visiting in New York City.
Dr. and Mrs. Norman Rubenstein and family have returned from
a 10-day visit in New York.
Mr. and Mrs. Max Reder of 1941 Tuxedo gave a going-away
party for Mr. and Mrs. Louis Reder of 16654 Princeton who are
leaving for California.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Kraemer of Mt. Clemens are spending a
six-week vacation at the Victor Hotel, Miami Beach.
Mrs. Jack Karbal honored her husband on his 50th birthday
with a surprise party for 40 guests at their home on Leslie, and at
the Club Bali.
Mrs. David H. Jaffe and daughters, Ronette and Lenore, of
Northlawn Ave., spent the holidays in New York City.
Dr. and Mrs. J. M. Feldman, (Frances E. Harvey) of Cherry-
lawn Ave., who* vacationed in Miami Beach, returned home Jan. 3.
Sylvia Disner and Geraldine R. Harvey of W. Buena Vista Ave.,
are spending a fortnight in Miami Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Martin Selik (Harriet Tenenberg) have returned
to their home at Boston Blvd. after attending the Alpha Omega
Dental Convention in Miami and Palm Beach, Fla.
Dr. and Mrs. Jack Koenig and family, formerly of Pingree Ave.,
are now residing in their new home at 17330 Washburn.
Mr. and Mrs. Saul G. Dunitz of Muirland Ave. and Mr. and
Mrs. Bernard Siegel of Birchcrest Dr. were guests, during the holiday
weekend, of their brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Harry
Rosentein of South Bend, Ind.,
Mr. and Mrs. Philip Green and Mrs. Helen Hutton, who are
motoring to California for an extended visit, were entertained at a
farewell, dinner by Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Shulak.
Mr. and Mrs. David Cooper, their daughter, Mary, and son, Peter,
have returned from Miami Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Soss of Balmoral Rd. left Saturday for a
week in New York.
Mr. and Mrs. Mark Rafelson of Oak Dr. left for Miami Beach
where they are residing at the LaCorona Apt. for the winter months.
Clarice Freud of Whitmore Rd. has returned from a visit in
Washington, D. C.
Mr. and Mrs. Milton Doner of Renfrew Ave. left Saturday for a
cruise to Jamaica.
Mr. and Mrs. Max Ungar of Suffolk Dr. left for a stay in Holly-
wood, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Baer of Calvert Ave. left for Los Angeles
where they plan to spend a few months.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Sacks of Dexter Blvd. left Tuesday for New
York, where they plan to spend a few weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. Saul Harris of the Belcrest are spending the winter
months in Miami Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sampliner and daughter, Janie, of the Bel-
crest have returned from Cleveland where they visited with their
family.
Mrs. William Stearns of Peterboro Ave. and Mrs. Louis Harley
of Fairfield Ave. have left for Miami Beach where they will be the
house guests of Mrs. M. Gershenson.
Herbert Aronsson has returned to his studies at Babson Institute,
Boston, after spending his vacation with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Maurice Aronsson of Chicago Blvd.
Louis' Friedman of LaSalle Blvd. has left for Hollywood, Fla.,
where he will spend the winter months.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Landis have left for a stay in Miami Beach.
Mrs. Morris Ginsberg and Mrs. Frank Gainsborough of Newton
Centre, Mass., who are enroute to Montreal, are guests for a few
days at the Statler Hotel while visiting with Mrs. Ginsberg's brother
and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Fisher of Lakewood Ave.
Richard Mitchell has returned to his classes at Adrian College
after spending his vacation with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel
Mitchell of Lakewood Ave.
Mrs. Gerald Tatarsky of Denver, who came east to attend the
Wagner-Bassicus marriage in Cleveland on Thursday, will visit with
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ginsburg of Chicago Blvd., before
returning home.

The bride wore a candlelight
satin gown with illusion neckline.
The waist and shoulders were
encircled with old fashioned lace
trimmed with seed pearls. Her
fingertip veil of illusion was held
in place with a crown, also trim-
med in seed pearls. She -carried
a white Bible with large white
orchids and streamers with baby
purple orchids.
The bride's attendants were

the bridegroom, matron-of-honor
Shirley Nisbaum of Los Angeles,
maid-of-honor; Betty Gold, Roz
Snitman, Elinor Knopper and
