Jews succeeded in driving off the

in the process.

Dispute Sneh's Charges
LONDON (JTA) - Jewish
Agency circles here are not in-
clined to attach too much impor-
tance to the resignation from the
Agency Executive of Moshe Sneh,
but none was prepared to make a
statement without prior consul-
tation with Jerusalem. The Agen-
cy circles dispute Sneh's charges
concerning Agency participation
in recent London talks with gov-
ernment officials which, it is as-
serted, were proper since Britain
still is concerned with security
Matters in Palestine. With regard
to their not approaching Eastern
European countries, Agency offi-
cials asserted they are not inter-
ested in power politics.

May Form New Party
JERUSALEM (JTA)-After his
resignation Sunday as a member
Of the Jewish Agency Executive,
Moshe Sneh indicated on Monday

that he also intends to resign
from the General Zionist Party
to form a "Popular Opposition
Party" within the World Zionist
Organization.
Sneh denied ordering apProxi-
mately 15,000 visaless Romanian
Jews to oembark*, upon the Pan
York and Pan Crescent, which
now are on the • high seas on the
way to Palestine, over the Agen-
cy's veto. It is reliably learned
here that the direct motive for
Sneh's resignation was the .Agen-
cy's decision to accept the British
and U. S. State Department re-
quests to discontinue "illegal"
immigration.
Would 'Continue Immigration
In his statement Sneh said that
his resignation from the Agency
Executive is due not to a tempor-
ary misunderstanding or personal
disagreement but to the "parting
of the ways" between other mem-
bers of the Agency over matters
involving internal and external
policies. He gave the following
reasons:
1. He opposes the Agency's de-
cision to discontinue visaless Pal-
estine immigration and insists on
the continuation of immigration

until a free port for Jewish immi-
grants materializes.
2. He objects to current nego-
tiations with the British govern-
ment by Prof. Selig Brodetsky
and Dr. Nahum Goldmann, mem-
bers of the Executive.
3. He demands that various as-
pecs of the present Palestine de-
velopments should be brought by
the Agency before the United
Nations without discriminating
against either Eastern or Western
blocs.

4. He disagrees with the present ity of being subdued - by imperial-
ism." He said that he fears "dan-
policy of Haganah from whose

leadership he resigned several
