The 42nd HOLIDAY HOP, a
Thanksgiving Festival Dance, will
be held at 9 p. m. Sunday, Nov.
23, at the Jewish Center. Phil
Brestoff and his orchestra have
been engaged for the evening.
Admission is 75c for members and
$1.25 for non-members.
The Holiday Hop Committee in-

The WEDNESDAY EVENING
DISCUSSION GROUP will pre-
sent Dr. Irving S. Posner, leading
pediatrician and member of the
Cornelian Corner, at 9 p. m. Wed-
nesday, Dec. 3, in the Ginsburg
Lounge. Dr. Posner's topic will
be, "Behavior Problems of Young
Children."

Moishe Haar, director of the
Sholem Aleichem Institute, is
conducting a course in CONVER-
SATIONAL YIDDISH at the
Jewish Center, designed to meet
the needs of the Jewish profes-
sional workers. The course will
include conversation, writing and
reading of short stories, the mod-
ern Yiddish novel and classic
texts. Sources of Jewish folklore,
Jewish music and folk humor
will also be studied by the group.

The LOS ANGELES TELCOVE
CLUB will hold a Thanksgiving
Dance Sunday, Nov. 20, at 9 p. m.
in the auditorium of the Jewish
Center. Edith Hillmer and her
