The Shaarey Zedek Library,
joining hundreds of organizations
throughout the country in cele-
brating Book Month, Nov. 7 to
Dec. 7, is featuring special dis-
plays of books, pamphlets, per-
iodicals and pictorial materal.
The first of these exhibits was
arranged in connection with the
Friday evening services Nov..
14th. A second exhibit staged
Nov. 18th was in conjunction
with Rabbi Adler's review of
"Basic Judaism."
In addition, the library is fea-
turing an exhibit on Zionism,
with an interesting array of
books pictures and pamphlets on
the history of Zionism. The en-
tire community, 'especially Zion-
ist groups throughout the city,
is invited to visit the library
and view the exhibit.
Shaarey Zedek library hours
are as follows: 10 a. m. to 12 noon,
2 p. m. to 5:30 p. m. and 7 p.
to 9 p. m. Monday, Tuesday, Wed-
nesday and Thursday; 9 a. m. to
1 p. m. Sunday, and 10 a. m. to 1
p. m. Friday.

Asks Public to Comment
On DSR Poster Series
The Education Division of the
Detroit Interracial Committee an-
nounces that a large number of
DSR busses and streetcars are
now carrying a series of posters
sponsored by the Committee.
The first poster deals with fair
employment practices and is
entitled "I Start Work Today."
Next in the series, "America's
Future—Its Children," is sched-
uled to appear in December.
