Entire Community to Felicitate Pisgah Lodge
On 9Qth Anniversary at Banquet Next Tuesday

member of Pisgah Lodge since
1908, who will extend greetings
as chairman of the board of
governors of the Jewish Welfare
Federation; Aaron Droock, past
president of Pisgah Lodge and
District Grand Lodge No. 6, will
represent the Jewish Community
Council as its president, and the
three non-Jewish spokesmen.
Rabbi Leon Fram of Temple
Israel will give the benediction
after Rabbi Lelyveld's address.
Dinner music will be rendered by
Ray Gorrell and his Orchestra
with Marion Gillette and Don
Abele as vocalists.

the 90th anniversary celebration
of Pisgah Lodge No. 34 of Bnai
Common Council, representing
the City of Detroit.
The banquet will open with the
singing of the National . Anthein
and Hatikvah, led by Alfred H.
Bounin, a member of Pisgah
Lodge. The invocation will be
given 'by Rabbi Jacob E. Segal
of the Northwest Hebrew Con-
gregation.
Leaders to Greet Dinner
Harry Yudkoff, a past presi-
dent of Pisgah Lodge and District
Grand Lodge No. 6, general chair-
man of Pisgah's 90th anniversary
committee, will act as toast-
master. Following the dinner
felicitations and greetings will be
extended 'by Herbert S. Eskin,
president of Pisgah Lodge;
Samuel Leib, a past president of
Pisgah Lodge, second vice presi-
dent 'of District Grand Lodge No
6, whb will represent the District
at the banquet; Abe Orasin of
Grand Rapids, president of Michi-
gan Bnai Brith Council; Mrs.
Samuel S. Aaron, president of
The Committee
The 90th -anniversary: commit-
tee is composed of the following:
Harry Yudkoff, general chairman;
Samuel W. Leib, Milton M. Wein-
stein and Isadore Starr, co-chair-
men; Elias Goldberg, chairman of
souvenir book, with Jack Lawson
and Herman Zimmerman, co-
chairmen. Ben F. Goldman is
editor of the souvenir book.
Morris Shatzen, chairman of ban-
quet and entertainment with
Phil Levant as co-chairman.
Henry M. Azramovitz is chairman
of speakers' program, with Julius
Deutelbaum as co-chairman.
Ticket sales were directed by
Max H. Goldhoff, chairman. The
publicity committee includes
Louis Rosenzweig, chairman,
Rudolph Meyersohn, co-chairman.
Alfred H. Bounin is secretary of
the committee.

portions as a result of the out-
standing personalities who will
appear on the program.
Rabbi Arthur ,J. Lelyveld of
• New York, who recently was
selected to succeed Dr. Abram
L. Sachar as national director
of Bnai Brith Hillel 'Founda-
tions will be the principal
speaker at the banquet.
. A graduate of the Hebrew
Union College, Rabbi Lelyveld
has occupied several important
pulpits before becoming associate
national director of Hillel Foun-
dations last year. He has written
for many Jewish publications and
has been in demand as a lecturer
throughout the country.
Leaders of the community
will felicitate Pisgah Lodge at

banquet a semblance of a
Brotherhood meeting, include:
