Final Conference
Plans Arranged
Final arrangements are now be-
ing made for the fourth session
of the American Jewish Confer-
ence scheduled Nov. 29 to Dec. 2
at the Palmer House in Chicago.
Close to 350 delegates and alter-
nates already have signified their
intention of attending the session.
The group's major consideration
will be that of a permanent
organization for the Conference.
Other meetings will consider
the position of European Jewry
and interim activities of the Con-
ference since its third session.
Standing committees which will
function during the session in-
clude the general, Palestine, Jew-
ish rights and status; organiza-
tion, budget and finance and cre-
dentials committees.
The opening session, to be held
at the Civic Opera House, will be
open to the Chicago Jewish com-
munity.
