widow of the late Rev. Herman
Singerman, formerly of Detroit,
died in Los Angeles Oct. 17 after
a long illness. She was an active
member of Hebrew Ladies Aid
Society, Bnai Moshe Sisterhood
and Jewish Home for Aged in
Detroit; Mt. Sinai Sisterhood and
Southwest Auxiliary in Los An-
geles. She was the mother of
Joseph, Adolph and Dr. Isadore
Singerman, Tessie Alevy and
Louisa Krause of Los Angeles,
Jennie Weiss of Flint, Alex
Singerman and Julia Ring of De-
troit; grandmother of 14 and
great-grandmother of 11 children.

of Mt. Clemens, Mich., for the
past few years an associate of one
of the leading law firms in New-
ark, N. J., died Oct. 20 in Newark.
He was a graduate of the Univer-
sity of Michikan.. He is survived
by his wife, Caroline; a son, Mi-
chael; his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Noah Goodman, and a sister, Mrs.
Ida Engel.
