With Prof. Theodore M. New-
comb of the University of Mich-
igan as featured speaker, the
Detroit Junior Service Group will
present the first ih a series of
monthly discussion meetings at
2:30 p. m., this Sunday in the
Jewish Community Centel.
After a talk on "Personal Pic-
tures," dealing with the person-
ality of the prejudiced individual,
pr. Newcomb will analyze racial
prejudice and the kinds of people
who become victims of prejudice.
Dr. Newcomb, who is profes-
sor of social psychology, formerly
taught at Bennington College.
During the war he conducted spe-
cial research for the War De- .
partment and is co-author of sev-
eral text books.
