ity relations activities of the
League of Jewish Women's Or-
ganizations were taken at a spe-
cial meeting of presidents of or-
ganizations affiliated with the
League Sept. 8.
At that meeting, Robert Mac-
Rae, director of the Council of
Social Agencies, urged the worn-
en to continue their generous
support of the Detroit Commun-
ity chest. He asked that they not
only contribute to the drive, but
become campaign workers and
enlist the efforts of their mem-
bers as chest solicitors.
Mrs. Samuel B. Danto, League

members assist in solicitation and
in manning booths in department
stores. Mrs. Alfred May is tele-
