Conservative Movement Is Seen
As Hope of West Coast Judaism

On the West coast today there is increasing awareness of
the spiritual and religious aspects of Jewish life. Our people
.are beginning to realize that it is not enough to gather funds
for the Jews of Europe while the American Jewish com-
munity itself sickens spiritually and emotionally.
The symptoms of the sickness of Jewish life in the parts

Since its inception, Aliyah Ha-
dasha has stood in opposition to
the official political program of
world Zionism. The opposition is

idea of the Jewish State, but
against the claim to realize this
state today and in the whole of
Palestine.
The party has consistently op-
posed terrorism in all forms. be-
cause it thinks that terror is a
weapon which. like a boomerang,
will recoil and destroy its own
constructive work.
Aliyah Hadasha is united with
the whole Yishuv in its struggle
against the White Paper of 1939.
The party, however, demands
that the Zionist leadership ought
to concentrate its fight more on
the basic principle of Zionist work
