anniversary June 19, with a surprise party at the home of Mr. ale
Mrs. Sam Canter.
Mrs. M. Schwartzstein, Mrs. D. Rotter and Miss R. Halperin of
New York City, and Jack Cohan of Columbus, 0., were the guests
of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Seltzer of Richton Ave., in honor of the birthday
of their daughter, Barbara Seltzer.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert M. Jordan of Walnut Lake visited last week
with their family in Cleveland.

North Star Camp at Hayward, Wis.

son, Richard, of Balmoral Dr. left on Saturday to spend a few weeks

Miss Millie Gross, who flew here from New York before leaving for
Japan with the USO.

joired, the war crimes commission
in Yokahama this week. A former
staff judge advocate of the 7th
Corps and the Air Transport
Command, Col. Fixel was on the
staff of the Nazi war crimes com-
mission in Germany. He has been
on active duty since April, 1941.

Frances Millicent Bloom, daugh-
ter of Mrs. Charles Bloom, and
Paul Katz son of Rev. and Mrs.
I. Katz.
Given in mariage by her
brother, Saul Bloom, the bride
wore a gown of chantilly lace
over white satin, with fitted
bodice, off the shoulder neckline,
hoop skirt and long train. Her
fingertip veil fell from a crown
shaped headpiece. She carried a
prayerbook with two white or-
chids and lilies-of-the-valley.
Mrs. Hyman Moore, the bride-
groom's sister, was matron of
honor, and June Entine of Toledo,
the bride's cousin, was maid of
honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs.
Gerrie Bloom, Betty Kowalsky,
Harriet Alper and Mrs. Betty
Kozak. Karol Bloom, niece of the
bride was junior bridesmaid.
William Margolin was best man
and Burt Bloom, Hyman Moore,
Sol Carl- and Manuel Ravet were
ushers. Sanford Burnstein of Chi-
cago, cousin to the bride, was
junior usher.
Out of town guests from To-
ledo, Dayton, Chicago, New Jersy,
Muskegon, New York and Oregon
were present.
A dinner and a reception in the
crystal Ballroom . followed the
ceremony, which was performed
by Rabbi Joseph Katz of Mont-
claire, N. J., brother of the groom.
The newlyweds are honey-
mooning in Atlantic City and
New York.
