During the next two weeks,
Rabbi Leon Fram will be the
guest of two Christian youth
camps at 'which he will, lead
groups, teach classes and lecture
at the camp assemblies.
From Sunday, July 6, to Sat-
urday, July 12, he will serve on
the faculty of the COngregation-
alist Youth Camp at Olivet Col-
lege, - Olivet, Mich. From Sun-
day, July 13, to Saturday, July
_19, he will serve on the staff of
_the Youth Camp of the Evangeli-
cal and Reformed Church, also at
Olivet College. At both camps
he will give courses on intercul-
tural and interfaith relationships
as well as on the teachings and
symbols of Judaism.

cal Seminf-v-r of New York.
Rabbi Samuel Stollman was or-
dained with honors in June after
many years of undergraduate
study in rabbinic schools. He
began his studies in Chicago
where he attended the Hebrew
Theological College and the Uni-
versity of Chicago.
In 1942 he transferred to the
Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theologi-
cal Seniinary where he pursued
his studies under Rabbi Shatzkes
and Dr. Soloveichik, foremost tal-
mudists of our time. He received
his B. A. from Columbia Univer-
sity and is now fulfilling the re
quirements for his M. A. degree.
Prior to his ordination, Rabbi
Samuel Stollman occupied pul-
pits in Detroit, Springfield, Ill.,
Worcester, and Boston, Mass.
An able public speaker, he also
has served as editor of Hazedek,
the Yeshiva organ, is author of
many articles and translated nu-
merous Hebrew essays.
He is spending a few weeks at
the home of his parents and in-
tends to return shortly to -assume
a permanent position in Boston.
He will occupy the pulpit at
Mishkan Israel this Sabbath, when
the congregation will fete his re-
cent ordination.

mittee reported on the results
of the annual seminar, held May
29-31 at Highland Park, Ill., at a
luncheon meeting of the chapter
at the Fort Shelby Hotel on June
24.

for the late Dr. Theodor Herzl

promises and in accordance with the
highest traditions of our country.
