Barbara Eder, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Samuel Eder of the
Wilshire Hotel, received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the Uni-
versity of Michigan on June 14.

Mrs. Joseph Neisner of Rochester, N. Y., was the guest of Mr.
and Mrs. Alexander Freeman for a few days last week.

Ave., left for Los Angeles, Calif., to attend the Bar Mitzvah of their
nephew and cousin, Melvyn Cohen, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Cohen,

for a six weeks vacation in California. They will be the guests

Mrs. Gordon Fauman (Faye Rosenblatt) of Hollywood, Calif.,
was here for a visit with family and friends. While here she attend-
ed the graduation of her sister, Freda Rosenblatt, from Wayne Uni-

Eleanor Applebaum of Fullerton Ave. is vacationing a month in
Miami Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Aaron M. Pregerson and their daughter, Judy,
left for a month's sojourn in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Abrahams and family, formerly of New
York City, are residing at 2985 W. Grand. With them are Mr. and
Mrs. Harvey L. Kahn. and their daughter, Karen Lynn, also of
New York. Both families left Detroit about five years ago for

Julian Myers has returned to Los Angeles following a visit

Mortimer Goodman, a native
of Cleveland, will serve as head
counselor of Camp Habonim and
in the fall will assume his
duties as director of intermediate
activities at the Jewish Center,
Samuel H. Rubiner, Center pres-
ident, announces.
Mr. Goodman received his
Social Work Training at the
School of Social Service Admin-
istration, University of Chicago,
graduating in June, 1942. Prier
to that time, he studied for three
years at Hebrew Union College.
His background includes two
years of Jewish Center work,
camping at Cincinnati and nine
months employment:at the Jew-
ish Vocational Service, Chicago.
He served in the U. S. Army
from 1942 to 1945, including 17

The bride wore the same gown
and veil which her sisters had
worn at their marriages. It was
fashioned of antique ivory satin
in Victorian style on a hoop.
The yoke of the bodice was
edged in heirloom lace, and the
skirt which was caught up be-
low the hoop with clusters of
orange blossoms extended into
a court train. The three-tiered
veil of silk illusion fell from a
crown of matching lace beyond
the train of her gown. She car-
ried a Victorian bouquet of
orchids and gardenias.
Mrs. Allen Tolmich was her
sister's matron of honor and the
bridesmaids were Marcia Cohen
and Helen Grossfield. Mr. Cohen
served his son as best man and
the ushers included Leonard
Fox, Allan Tolmich, Donald and
Warren Coville and Douglas
Selik.
Following the wedding recep-
tion, the couple left for Chicago
where they will spend their
honeymoon at the Edgewater
Beach Hotel.
