`Light' Opens New Series ,
With Arnold Pert Script

A story of the Palestine of to-
day, "How the Sabbath Was '
Seven Minutes Late In Tel Aviv,"
written for radio by Arnold Perl,
will be broadcast on the Eternal
Light radio program at 8 a. m.
Sunday, June 22, on station
WWJ, as the first in a new sum-
mer series.
The story of the "lateness of
the Sabbath" in Tel Aviv is nar-
rated by Reb Gabriel, who blows
a trumpet on the streets of Tel
Aviv to announce the . Sabbath
every week. He tells of the time
he became so engrossed talking
with an artist about the Pales-
tine landscape that he was kept
from his regular rounds one Fri-
day evening. The story is based
'on information in the Palestin-
ian Almanac for 1947.
