Marks 20th Anniversary
The spring issue of Harafe
Haivri (Hebrew Medical Journal)
inaugurates its 20th anniversary
year. In his editorial ; Dr. Moses
Einhorn, editor, discusses the
aims and growth of the journal.
The contents of this journal are
not confined to technical medical
topics, but, in addition, includes
several sections covering the
health of the young generation of
Palestine and the historical and
archaeological aspects of the Hot
Springs of Tiberias.
Dr. Z. Muntner presents a
treatise in which he disetisses the
classical pronouncements on med-
ical ethics by Asaph, who lived
in the ninth century. Dr. Eman-
uel D. Friedman, offers a tribute
to the memory of the late Dr.
Isidore W. Held.
Dr. M. Ben-Ami, Dr. A. Gold-
stein, Dr. Alexander Freed and
Dr. L. M. Herbert write on medi-
cal terminology.

Kindergarteners to Perform
Pupils of the Sholem Aleichem
Schools and Kindergarten will
present two plays, "The Happy
Musicians," an operetta by Sim-
che Weiss, and a drama, "They
Will Come," by David Bridger,
at 2 p. m. Sunday, June 9, at
Durfee Intermediate.
The drama is a story of the
refugee children now arriving
in Palestine.
The kindergarten .pupils are
appearing in public for the first
time. The children will sing
songs and appear in the rhythm-
band and snits.

Kerstein Named Bloch

New YORK—Solomon Kerstein,
Mizrachi leader and journalist,
was named vice-president of
Bloch Publishing Co., the 93-
year-old American-Jewish pub-
lishing house. The announcement

Opened in N.Y.
The first Jewish Museum in the
United States, and probably the
largest in the world, opened to

Warburg, who presented the six-
story structure at the corner of

Seminary in 1944 for this purpose.

artistic expression in the Jewish

architecture, music and letters.

gural exhibition will be "The
Giving of the Law and the Ten
