At its final closed meeting of
the season next Tuesday eve-
ning at the Jewish Center, Chap-
ter One will sponsor a musical
hour, with Julius Chajes, pianist,
and Wyn Garden, soprano, as fea-
tured artists.
Chapter One invites all young
men and women to join them at
their Cranbrook hike this Sun-
day. Tours through the Institute
of Arts and the Museum of Sci-
ence will be featured. Evening
activities include plans for a
wienie roast. Interested persons
will meet on Dexter and Davison
at 1 p. m. Drivers are urged to
bring their automobiles.
"Theatre Night," will be the
next co-ed event that the Council
Career Group will present at
8 p. m., Thursday, June 12, in
Butzel Hall of the Jewish Com-
munity Center.
The show will feature a one
act skit, entitled. "Hedy Gets a
Date," written by Phillip Nush-
oltz, and performed by Shirley
Small and Peggy Mann. Selma
Jakont will interpret the "Park
Avenue Hillbilly," and direct an
arrangement of the Andrews Sis-
ters for "Male Trio."
Minnie Sneider will conclude
with a group of songs. Dancing
and refreshments will follow.

Center Day Camp will open its
third season on June 30, for eight
weeks.

The camp again will be under
the direction of Harold Weiss,
who will be assisted by Shirley
Levine and a staff of five quali-
fied counselors.
The number of campers is lim-
ited to 60 children.
A feature this year will be
two sessions a day of camp for
children between 3 and 5 years
of age. The fee for this program
is $2 weekly while the fee for
the full day of camping for chil-
dren 6 to 14 is $4 a week.
Children use the Council Cen-
ter as their headquarters. leaving
the building daily for hikes, trips,
swimming and playground activ-
