Of Allied Campaign
The Honor Roll of Allied Jewish Campaign volun-
teer workers is mounting steadily.
Although still far from the 1947 goal of $5,335,000,
the fact that the workers are exerting their efforts to
secure 100 per cent coverage of their prospects en-
courages the campaign leaders to believe that the
balance needed to attain this year's quota may still be
secured.
Among those . who reached their assigned quotas as
of last Friday were the following:
I
Mechanical Trades Division:
Gas and Oil Team, headed by Nathan R. Epstein and
Nathan Kolb-102 per cent of its quota on 88 per cent coverage
of its slips.
Real Estate Division:
Building Suppliers Team, Benjamin Wilk and David Gold-
berg, chairman-101 per cent of quota secured from 66 per
cent of its prospects.
Chemical and Allied Trades Team, Walter L. Field and
Harold R. Nelson, chairmen-103 per cent of quota on 54 per
cent of slips.
Hotel and Restaurant Equipment Team, Benjamin L.
Smith, Irving Goldberg and Jesse R. Feiler, chairmen-105 per
cent of quota on a coverage of 92 per cent of slips
Food Service Division:
Food Brokers and Processors Team, Sol G. Kurtzman and
Paul Zuckerman, chairmen-107 per cent of quota on a coverage
of 83 per cent of slips.
Professional Division:
Social Services Team, Clarice Freud. Cecelia Shetzer and
Harold Silver, chairmen-112 per cent of quota on a coverage
of 59 per cent of slips.
In addition to these oversubscriptions of their quotas, the
following, although they failed to secure their assigned quotas,
have made complete coverage of their slips:
Furriers, David Feerer and Edward Roberts; Laundries,
Jack Lapides, Samuel P. Baker, and Philip Sukrow; Ostheo-
pathic Physicians, Dr. Sydney F. Ellias.
One of the best showings ilb the drive is reported by the
Linen Suppliers and Employes, particular credit being given to
Isaac Litwak. This group has raised 75 per cent of its quota on
a coverage of 19 per cent. Others working in this division are:
John Isaacs, Jacob Cukerman, Joseph Sandler, Harry Schumer,
Morris L. Schaver, Morris Shulewitz, Louis Dalitz and Robert
Lattin.
