MISS BETTY KURTZ

announced her engagement to
Leon M. (Bud) Shulman, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Harry M. Shulman
of Webb Ave.
Miss Kurtz is a graduate of
Wayne University, where she
was affiliated with Pi Lambda
Theta, national honorary society,
and Sigma Theta Delta sorority.
She is now a member of the fa-
culty of the University of Mich-
igan, where she is a candidate
for the degree of Master of Arts,
with the class of January, 1948.
Mr. Shulman, a veteran of four
and a half years of overseas serv-
ice with the Army Air Force In-
telligence, is now majoring in
psychology at the Univsrsity of
Michigan. He is a resident ad-
visor at the University Residence
Halls.
