Club to honor June brides-elect Rita Lenore Kallman, Alice Voss and
Faye Beth Schwartz.
Mrs. Laurence Freedman of Manderson Rd. is attending the
executive board meeting•of the National Federation of Temple Sister-
hoods in Baltimore, after which she will visit in New York City and
Buffalo.
H. C. Pragg of Shaker Heights, 0., who came here to attend the
wedding of his niece, Rhea Prag. to Stanley C. Klein, was the house
guest of his sister, Mrs. Abe Gordon of Webb Ave. •

anniversary with a party at the Bowery, accompanied by Mr. and

Shirley Smith of Webb Ave. has returned from a week's trip
to Washington, D. C., and Baltimore. -
Mr. and Mrs. Maxwell Gold of San Juan Dr. have returned from
a visit with Mr. and Mrs. David Zellman of Cincinnati.
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Glass and son of 3207 Blaine have returned
from San Francisco where they attended the wedding of their
daughter, Betty, to Samuel Elkind. They also visited Los Angeles,
Burbank, Santa Monica and Glendale.
Buddy Frank has returned from the armed forces after seeing
service in Palestine, Egypt, Trieste, Turkey, Italy, Greece and Africa.
A surprise birthday party for Rosalie Gorbach, 1947 Hillel
Queen, was given April 26 at the home of Beverly Wasserman.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Glazer and their son, Louis, of Tyler Ave.
have left for Los Angeles where they plan to make their home.
Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Carpenter of Ewald - Circle have as their
guest, Miss Harriet Donzis of San Antonio, Tex.
Mr. and Mrs. Ben Kramer of Whitmore Rd. have as their guests
her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur LaVine of Miami.

Music Club Juniors
Study Mozart, Haydn

The Junior Group of the Music
Study Club will hear a program
of Mozart and Haydn at 2:30 p. m.
Sunday, May 4, at the home of
Jack Singer, 3284 Hazelwood.
David Abels and Jerry Cole-
man will report on the life and
music of Haydn, and Beatrice
Brindze and Myra Oberstein on
Mozart. A Mozart trio will be
played by guest artists of the
Student Group, Thomas Thomas,
cellist, Kurt Saffir, pianist, and
Adam Malone, violinist.

Michelson of Collingwood Ave.,
announced the engagement of his
daughter, Alyce, to Herman L.
Rosenblatt, son of David B. Ros-
enblatt of Minneapolis. The bride-
elect attended University of Wis-
consin and was graduated from
Wayne University. Her fiance is
a graduate of University of Min-
nesota and is affiliated with Sig-
ma Alpha Mu. A midsummer

result of the new law making
instruction in Catholicism com-
pulsory in the Argentine public
school system, private Jewish
schools will soon be founded
throughout the country.
