Morton Meklir, a mem-
ber of the Jewish Corn-
, munity Center, is seriously
ill with an unknown blood
disease for which he has al-
ready received 30 trans-
fusions. It is necessary for
him to continue to receive a
regular schedule of trans-
fusions, and since all of his
relatives and -friends have
already served as donors,
the public is now asked to
help.
Persons wishing to vol-
unteer as blood donors are
requested to contact Meklir
or his family at 4089 Tyler,
HO. 9835.
All donations will be
added to the blood bank at
Providence Hospital. Any
blood type is acceptable.
The hospital will in turn
provide the transfusions
needed for Meklir. Trans-
portation to and from the
hospital will be provided
by members of the family.
