A Model Seder explaining the
history and meaning of Passover
will be held at Wayne University

The annual Habonim Passover
Third Seder to be held at the
Jewish Community Center at
8:15 p. rn. April 6, is entering
the final stages of rehearsal.
As guest speaker of the eve-
ning, Rabbi Eliezer Levi of Bnai
Moshe will discuss the - meaning
of Pesach today. Featured on the
program will be a modern Haga-
dah pageant, combining radio and
pantomine technique, written and
produced by Hy r a m Zeldis.
Chana Comay heads staging; ef-
fects and costumes; and Dave
Levine, lighting.
Avishag H i r s h, Palestinian
delegate to Detroit Habonim, is
directing the rehearsals of the
dance group. The group will per-
form Chalutzic and Chassidic
dances.
The souvenir book is nearing
completion under the direction of
Allen Zemmol and Joe Savin.
Tickets are on sale, and every-

CLASS IN BETH YEHUDAH DAY SCHOOL
Rabbi David Zurick, principal
of the afternoon Yeshivah, an-
nounces that Yeshivath Beth Ye-
hudah is opening a beginners'
class immediately after Pesach
for children 6 to 81/2 years old.
All parents interested in re-
ligious training for their child
should- enroll them now in this
afternoon class. The curriculum
will include Hebrew reading,
writing and history. The children
will be taught the laws and cus-
toms of Jewish tradition and

At Passover Services
Rabbi Leon Fram announces
that Temple Israel will ob-
serve a Passover vesper service
at 5:30 p. m. Friday, April 4, in
the 'lecture hall of the Detroit
Institute of Arts.
The Passover morning service
will be held at 10:30 a. m. Satur-
day, April 5, in the lecture hall
of the Institute. The subject of
Rabbi Fram's sermon will be
"Passover: Festival of Freedom."
The choir of Temple Israel, di-
rected by Dan Frohman, will
sing in support of Cantor Robert
S. Tulman, accompanied by Karl
W. Haas at the organ. -
