LEAGUE thanks its many friends
who assisted in making a success
of its Victory Luncheon at the
Masonic Temple March 4, ac-
cording to Mrs. James V.
Browne, president Mrs. Browne
stressed that while every at-
tention was being paid to local
needs of indigent children, the
League was sending the majority
of its earnings to Europe and
Palestine.

CLUB will have a Purim Party
Monday, March 17, at Bnai
Moshe. The members are ask-
ing husbands and friends to at-

of peanuts. Leona Weinberg and
Ray Yanovsky represented the
auxiliary at this presentation.

the new headquarters of Pioneer
Women, 11818 Dexter, for a cul-
tural evening, Tuesday, March
18. The discussion will be of the
Geography and Products of Pal-
estine. All girls 20-30 are invit-
ed. Sharona Club will hold its
first annual games party April
24 in the Rose Sittig Cohen Bldg.

an oral tour through Kibbutz Ein
Hashofet. A musical program is

Education Council, will be the
guest speaker of the UNIVER-
SITY AREA WOMEN'S CLUB at
its next meeting. Mrs. Gentile
is on the Inter-Racial Committee
of the Detroit Council of Churches.

p. m., Wednesday, March 19, at
the home of Mrs. Louis Herzog,
