Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Kolodney of Sturtevant Ave. left for
Toronto, where they will celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary.
Miss Bernice Levitt of Fairfield Ave. was hostess at a kitchen
shower March 1 at the Lee Plaza Hotel, in honor of bride-elect
Arlene Gendelman.
Joshua Karbal of Webb Ave. spent several weeks, with his family
in Miami Beach, Fla., where his daughter, Norma, is a student at
the University of Miami.
Harold Shapiro of Young Judaea and Thelma Dosie and Evelyn
Vernon of Little Women of Hadassah spent the week-end in Youngs-
town, 0., where they attended the Young Judaea convention.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred W. Payson of Chicago Blvd. have returned
from a month's vacation in New Orleans, Havana and Verades
Beach, C-lba.
Dr. Seymour D. Berman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark L. Berman
of 2722 Webb, has graduated from the School of Dentistry of the
University of Michigan.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Halperin have returned from a vacation in
California.
Mrs. Joseph Prentis has returned from St. Louis after attending
the funeral of her brother, Samuel Rosenberg.
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Rowin of Griggs Ave. have returned from
a month's visit to Miami Beach in celebration of their silver wedding
anniversary. Before their trip they held a dinner party for 90 guests.
Mr. and Mrs. Abe A. Schmier of Sherbourne Rd. have returned
from California and Arizona. While in Arizona, they were guests
at El Rancho Diablo, Tucson.
Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Goldstone of 4075 Tyler, entertained 40
guests at a surprise dinner party Saturday, March 1, honoring their
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mandel Goldstone of Winnipeg, Man., on their
50th wedding anniversary. Out of town guests from Flint, Boston
and Windsor were present.
Mrs. Sol B. Gale of 3005 Chicago Blvd. left for Miami Beach
where she will spend the remainder of the winter.
Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Galow of Calvert Ave. have returned
from an extended stay in Tucson, Ariz. Enroute home they visited
with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Irving Atlas in
Kansas City, Mo.
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Abrams of Marlboro Ave. are vacationing in
Miami Beach, Fla.
