ACTIVITIES IN SOCIETY

Beverly Bensman and Barbara Sommers of Pasadena Ave. are
spending the week-end in Dayton, O.. as guests of Helen Shulman:
Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Levinson of Stoepel Ave. left Feb. 25 for
Chicago where they will visit a week with relatives, after which
Mrs. Levinson will visit her daughter, Patt, who is a junior at the
University of Missouri.
Mr. and Mrs. Irving W. Ozer have returned to their home in
North Hollywood after spending a week in Palm Springs, Calif.,
with their cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Posen of Taluca Lake, Calif.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Molin and daughter, Zelda, are now residing
in North Hollywood, Calif.
Arlene Roberta Singer, whose marriage to Morris H. Braverman
will take place March 8 at the Art Institute, was entertained by
Mrs. Leonard Sims at a luncheon Feb. 22.
Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Fuller, of 12325 Broadstreet, will hold open
house from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 9, in honor of the Pidyan
ha Ben of their grandson. Richard Jay Gurwin. No cards.
Mr. and Mrs. Lou Balantzow, of Shaker Heights, Ohio, formerly
of Detroit, are spending a month visiting in Hot Springs, Ark.
Mr. and Mrs. Max Taylor and daughters,' Gloria and Sylvia,
formerly of Lawrence Ave., are now making their home in Indian-
apblis, Ind. Prior to their departure for their new home they were
entertained by their neighbors and friends at numerous parties.
Mrs. Harry Markowitz of 15310 LaSalle returned from a seven-
week trip to Los Angeles where she visited her mother, Mrs. Rose
Gilbert. and sisters.
The Misses Betty Minus and Dorothy Webber were hostesses to

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Meister of Ewald Circle are spending the
week-end in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., where they are attending the

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kornfield of Burlingame Ave. are vacation-
ing in Miami Beach and Havana.
Gloria Hamburger has returned from Florida where she visited
her parents at the Sea Isle Hotel.
Mrs. Benjamin B. Gordon and daughter, Judy, of Leslie Ave.
have returned from a visit with her parents in Milford. Mass. They
also attended the Bar Mitzvah of a nephew, the son of Mr. and Mrs.
C. Carey of Natick, Mass.
Mr. and *M•s. Arthur Lipsitt and daughters, Eileen and Marilyn,
formerly of Glendale Ave., now are residing in their new home at
4671 W. Outer Drive.
Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Natou• left on Feb. 18 for a six-week stay

Sonia-Blum of East Cleveland, 0., returned to her home after
spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Ravitz of Ford Ave.
Miss Ann Zack, whose marriage to Ben Berss took place Feb.
23, was honored at a bridal shower Feb. 18, given by Mr. and Mrs.
