EMMA SCHAVER her six month-tour of Europe, Mrs. Emma Schaver was inter- viewed by the newspaper PM. The article describes Mrs. Scha- ver's experiences in Europe and translates portions of the songs. "These songs are so powerful, people should jump out of their seats when they are sung," Mrs. Schaver told the in reporter. "The music was in very crude shape when I got it—just a line of melody and the words. I am having it arranged by musicians here. "When the songs were written, there is no doubt that the day was bleak. yet in all these songs there is a certainty that 'We will survive!' That doesn't mean 'I will survive.' It means the terriffic belief that the people as a group would survive the holocaust." • • • Feb. 14—To Mr. and Mrs. JULES KLEIN His Famous Orchestras and Entertainment.
