He is Yona Yonai who went
from the United States to Pales-
tine in 1932 and has limed there
since except for a number of
trips to Europe and the United
States as a member of Hashomer
Hatzair.
Yonai is a member of Ain
• ashofet, one of the first three
colonies established in Palestine
by American pioneers. He was a
student at Cornell University and
has`spoken in behalf of Zionism
in many American cities. For a
number of years he was secre-
tary of\the colony.
